Attocube Near-field Optical Nanoscopy Workshop

Overview
We’re excited to invite you to a 1-day workshop dedicated to the application potential of scattering-type Scanning Near-field Optical Microscopy (s-SNOM), infrared nanospectroscopy (nano-FTIR) and related techniques.

s-SNOM and nano-FTIR spectroscopy are cutting-edge optical imaging and spectroscopy tools that enable nanoscale imaging in the broad spectral range between visible and terahertz frequencies. Since the first commercialization of about 15 years ago, a variety of imaging and spectroscopy modalities have been added, serving a rapidly growing community of users across widely different and interdisciplinary fields, including solid state physics, semiconductor technology, photonics, polymer science, and biology.

Description:
The workshop program (to be announced) is jointly designed by Attocube systems and Warsash Scientific, in collaboration with Australian SNOM users community. The workshop will be held during the 2024 Australian Institute of Physics Congress and isincluded as part of the NFO-17 program at no additional cost to registered delegates of the Congress

We eagerly anticipate your presence at this compelling event, offering a platform for networking among esteemed colleagues, expanding your expertise, and delving into cutting-edge advancements in infrared nanoscale analytics. Reserve your place now and contribute to the evolution of nanotechnology research and its applications in Australia.

Confirmed Speakers:
Prof Yuerui Lu – Australian National University, Australia

Prof Stefan Maier – Monash University, Australia

Prof Qingdong Ou – Macau University of Science and Technology, China

Prof Volker Deckert – Jena University, Germany

Prof Saulius Juodkazis – Swinburne University of Technology, Australia

Dr Xiao Guo – University of Queensland, Australia

Special Note:
Live Demo on Your Sample: This unique opportunity allows for a free assessment of how nanoscale analytic techniques can be applied to your specific research or industrial challenges – measurement slot will be assigned in one of our demo labs across Australia in 2025.
